Early Childhood Professional Coaching and mentoring

Early childhood educator retention and workplace satisfaction are crucial for children’s academic success. By providing professionals with the support and guidance they need to thrive in their roles, they can develop new skills, apply a lens of change, feel confident and empowered, and contribute to children’s educational continuum while transforming schools.

By investing in these professional development opportunities, stakeholders can ensure that educators and paraeducators are well-equipped to meet the diverse needs of all children, thereby enhancing teacher retention and satisfaction.

Connect with us today to support your team in implementing these transformative strategies and making a lasting impact on your educational community.  All services are available in Spanish.

Coaching for Transformation

Utilizing various coaching strategies, we begin the coaching relationship by building trust. We continue with facilitative coaching, reflection, and assessment of the current reality and desired outcomes. This process helps educators grow and adapt, ensuring they can meet the needs of all children in inclusive environments.  Vivian Palicki is a registered PAT reflective supervision and Circle of Security coach.

Paraeducator Coaching and Mentoring

Paraeducators play a vital role in supporting children and lead educators in early childhood settings. The current educational system relies heavily on their contributions. However, research indicates that additional training, support, and supervision are necessary to enhance their effectiveness and empowerment in the classroom. Practice-based coaching and mentoring can elevate their roles and build the confidence they need to be key contributors to children’s success.

The Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEA, 2004) stipulates that paraeducators must be provided with appropriate training and supervision. Part C of IDEA specifically permits “appropriately trained” paraeducators to participate in the delivery of early intervention and related services. Furthermore, No Child Left Behind (2002) requires that local agencies ensure adequate training for paraeducators.

Our coaching and mentoring programs focus on:
